Our Mission

To design and deliver impactful social programs that provide education, healthcare, employment opportunities, relief services, and long-term empowerment, while addressing systemic issues such as displacement, gender-based violence, poverty, and social injustice.

Our Vision

To empower vulnerable populations especially children, women, and marginalized groups, through education, skill development, rehabilitation, protection, and sustainable support programs that create lasting pathways out of poverty and exploitation.

Who we are

The Allan and Chris Care Foundation (ACCF) is a humanitarian organization committed to restoring dignity, protecting the vulnerable, and empowering marginalized communities.
Named in honour of Allan and Christine Bongos Ikwue—symbols of compassion and resilience—the foundation is built on a legacy of service that inspires hope and lasting change.

ACCF evolved from the Saphllan Shelterton Foundation, which began humanitarian outreach in 2018, supporting IDPs, orphanages, widows, and underserved communities. In 2024, it was formally restructured and registered to expand impact and global partnerships.

Our Story From Otukpo to the World

The journey of the Allan and Chris Care Foundation is deeply personal. Its founder, Saphire Allan Bongos, grew up in Otukpo, Benue State, where she witnessed the harsh realities of poverty, neglect, and social vulnerability. She experienced struggle firsthand, the kind that shapes but also inspires change.

In September 2018, through the then Saphllan Shelterton Foundation, she mobilized support for IDPs in Benue State providing food, clothing, and relief to displaced families. Visits to orphanages and marginalized communities followed, planting the seeds of what has now become a registered foundation with national and international scope.

For Saphire, this is not just charity; it is a promise fulfilled to use her life and experiences to help others rise, to rewrite broken stories, and to prove that from Otukpo, a movement of care, resilience, and transformation can reach across Nigeria and the world.
